Broforce Vs. Brototype - whats the difference?
So I've played the Brototype in browser and stand alone download.. from watching youtube videos I have a hard time seeing what the difference is between the retail release and the demo. Can someone give me a quick summary? I guess some things would be the level editor and a vs. game mode.. anything else?

Don't you have only one level in the brototype ? I guess you have also less bro

In the full version you get:
-A lot more levels, with new features such as civilains who you can arm and zip lines. With more stuff being added.
-More Tilesets including Military Base, City, and several more upcoming.
-More Bros like Bronan, Brochete, The Boondock Bros and Ellen Ripbro with more being added.
-Multiplayer, in several types ranging from co-op to deathmatch and races.
-Ability to make and play custom levels and campaigns.
-Steam features such as Achivements, Leaderboards, and Cloud saves.
-More Bosses.
-Better and updated graphics with graphics options.
-And possibly upcoming stuff too, as this is still in Beta (Brota?)

Just to clear things out, the online part is more "interesting" in the brototype as of now. The beta only offers a few levels to test it, and is less stable because there's more people on it. All the rest is way better.

Thanks Psystrike, I noticed the little cricket has better graphic effects in the trailer.. and I just completed "Brototype" and yeah there is definetly lots more content in the retail going by the trailer.. just with these early access titles I get a little paranoid.

Fcp actually "Brototype" has a nice length for a freebie with a few boss fights.. played it with my son for a couple hours of mayhem.

YipYapYoup you wanted to clarify but only succedded in confusing me more.. whatchu talking about?

Well the only online mode is an extremely small campaign of about 10 levels. If you want to buy it for the online I'd say wait for a major update. Of course, everything else is playable in local coop.

OIC.. strange that they would split it out like that

The Brototype i think is somewhat out dated. It doesnt have online multiplayer (which is being tested right now) But it does contain local co-op, which is still crazy fun.
There are more boss fights now than before, and the brototype is shorter, but shows the core gameplay stuffz.
Also, it doesnt have more recent chars i think like the brochette guy, etc

". It doesnt have online multiplayer (which is being tested right now) "

The Brototype is the online alpha that is fully playable online and for free. It's missing many characters and a ton of content, but the online part is better.

The Beta also has online multiplayer, but only for a few levels.

:P The brototype still does give out the core gameplay, exploding things and having fun.
Blade's sword swipe is transparent like in the Brototype...which I prefer. Some faces are different...I think Brobo Cop was touched up...I prefer the Brototype Brobo Cop face. Allot of the older faces before the brototype looked better, don't know why they changed it for the stylized look.. now they all have this similar nose thing going on as well..whats up with that?...takes away from their character they had before.
