There is like 40 bros in broforce I think wile there is only 5 in expendabro. The expendabros campain is about the same size as one level set in broforce. Also in broforce there is a workshop.

Wayyy more campaign levels, new enemies and bosses, new environments, community made levels, etc.

It's a standalone game. Install it separately. The bros from the expendabros are available in the level editor and certain custom campaigns though

you can enjoy broforce in linux but not expendabros

Is the gameplay more varied in the main game? I played expendabros and while it was fun i can't see it being that enjoyable single player

The full game had 4-person online / local mixed multiplayer. The enemies and environments are way more varied, there are more bros, more items to interact with, and traversal is a little smoother
