Don't you have a favorite custom map/campaign?
Here's a couple I loved these days:
Ash vs the Army of Mookness part 1 & 2 by Ballistic 180
They are short but they load fast, have good performance and and have a very nice mood:

I'd rather not having it "too random" because you can easily get terrible maps that take 2 minutes to load.

It involved a lot of level design exploits to create, so only people who use the level editor would appreciate it more.
It is quite challenging, but the load times are minimal because it is just a single screen. Performance can get really bad if too much aliens spawn.

Here are some good maps I played today.
They are all good and best of all they load fast and play at 60 fps.

I agree, but maby you can set the parameters like you can now, but even without it would be an improvement of the endless scroling and clicking load more to get a new map i havent played when i run out of "new" maps as i have played the popular and trending maps, mabey it presents you with a selection instead of directly loading a map
+1
I feel that the engine is a BIG limitation in Broforce.
For a game that has pixel graphics, it is very easy to pull under 60 fps.
And frankly, that's the very reason I play indie games, to not being bothered by low fps, tons of hours wasted messing with settings, drivers, video utilities and stuff.
Loading times, I don't even know why, I am not tech savvy.
But I can load AAA monster games way faster than many Broforce custom maps.
