I also find the absence of the level editor to be disappointing. I guess the interface would be difficult to translate to a PS4 controller. It could've been the Super Mario Maker of the PS4. It would be like Little Big Planet except with actually good gameplay controls.
From what I have seen the PS4 version is like a free demo for the PC version.
I can confirm that, but it isn't randomly.
It is exact after you spawn at the start or checkpoint, when the game has to load the level.
If you respawn a coop-partner on a flag while being alive, the stop didn't happen, but if both die and the game has to go shortly to the "black screen", the stop happens.
Excuse my crappy english. ^^
It really could be. The map editor I feel is truly critical. I have invested over 500 into Broforce over the past 2 years and I think it's safe to say that over 90% of those hours were spent playing custom levels.
I also figured that considering it's the same price on the Playstation store as it is on Steam that they both shared the same content. I didn't realize that there were going to be cuts made...
What gives?
Well, you'll be happy to know they left you in, I forget the other guy along with you who was left in.
On a side note; it seems you can't shoot enemy grenades away from you anymore.
From having beaten the game on both platforms in the last few days, the final boss ending (where he's blowing up a bunch) takes almost 3 times longer to play through on the ps4 due to the awful framerate, and loading levels can take 2-5 whole minutes of black screen on the later ones. I thought my game crashed the first time this happened (on Ripley's challenge level) so I left it running and went to make lunch. It popped on a few mintues later and I could hear the countdown from my kitchen (gotta love that manly 3.. 2.. 1.. GOOO!).
I hate to be so negative because the game is super fun but the ps4 version just feels like it completely lacked QA at all. My roomie got it for ps+ this month and I just ended up buying it on PC anyway because of all the problems, slowdown and lack of level editor. As far as I know, he's just given up on it because its not worth buying it a second time to him.
