However there are a few other solid Female Action stars, perhaps not during the 80's; the only ones that come to mind are Ripley(Alien) and Sarah Connor(Terminator 2). Though who says the Devs need to stay in the 80's exclusively? IMO, as long as don't go into the 2000's it should be fine. I mean, Buffy might be really cool plus it would synergize with the Hell/Demon content.
IMO, adding Female Characters is a smart business move in today's market. I don't fault them for that, especially because they seem to be trying to keep the octane action flavor. However they really need to be careful which characters they add.
Also its clear the Devs are not limited to the 80s just to the 80s feel which is why we've got the gun-leg gal from that more recent film that Tarantino did (can't recal its title but its well beyond the 80s in release).
And there's nothing wrong, and indeed a lot of good, in having those "Bro-Gals" in BroForce because it fully embraces the 80s.
Whilst I can understand the appael of a "lads" game and situation (and they are around - look at Last of the Summer Wine; Dad's Army; Top Gear (original) - all male dominated lead situations and nothing wrong in them); Bro Force has had the "Bro-Gals" in for ages now - maybe this would have been valid much earlier in the games design but not now - heck we don't just have Riply we've got Aliens in a whole slew of levels
Still, i do think that the "manliness" concept of the game goes away with female characters. No matter how good or popular they are
Also, this game isn't about manliness, it's about being american and Bro af. Bro is genderless.
brazil huh you sure you don't live in saudi arabia
I wtf'd at the addition of women as well, but i guess it's just a game. Doesn't brake any mechanics.
But the it should be called Gender-NeutralForce now.
(lol @ the guy who said "Bro" is genderless; did you read that?)
It's about America and kicking ass.
