That would be Seth Brundle from The Fly. A weird choice, for sure, but he's super cool. If you remember that glitched bro that occasionally shows up in Deathmatch mode, that's him! He's functionally been grandfathered in since he was work-in-progress many years ago, so Evan decided to finally finish him.
There are cool acid effects in the game that can melt people's skin off their bones, those were added with or shortly after the aliens update (can't recall it exactly) way back in the day. The only deficiency was that if you wanted to play with acid stuff, you needed external entities like said aliens to draw acid blood from or acid barrels, so naturally people started asking for a dedicated bro with acid attacks to do acid damage directly. Problem was, there were not many bro-like classic movie characters with such abilities to draw inspiration from. Basically the only options people were able to come up with were the Fly (so not exactly a good guy in the end of the day) and the freaking Toxic Avenger (a Z-grade movie protagonist, so not exactly a classic reference). Ultimately the Fly was a better choice, he even got a hidden unfinished prototype bro in the game that stayed in this unfinished state for years seemingly abandoned... right until Broforce Forever Update!
