Xbox for PC Broforce seems to have no multiplayer capability anymore

I'm not sure how recently Broforce became available on Xbox for PC, but as of the end of May, 2020, it appears that multiplayer is no longer possible because no servers appear on the list when searching for a host (it displays "Refreshing" and never changes). I tested this and ensured my NAT is Moderate with no luck. My friend tried with his NAT being Open with no better luck. We're both in the U.S.

Is this game really now single player only or is anyone getting into multiplayer games using the Xbox for PC version? If so, did you have to jump through any hoops such as opening ports, etc.? If so, which ports?

Note that I am not talking about the version available on Steam. That is a different animal, and I've combed through this forum looking for answers to no avail.

Are you trying to play with a friend? Or random people?
If its a Friend you know - use Parsec

Yup I'm having the same issues as is my friend who also got it through game pass PC. I have been unable to find any answers online. Who do we even contact? Microsoft? Devolver?

I have never tried it and honestly I don't think the devs ever implemented it ever tbh with you all... the devs are working on a big update for the game but its gonna be a few months to a year till we see it.

Same problem here. I'm trying out Broforce on XBox Game Pass, and it's stuck on the Refreshing screen. If I host in the main story arc, nobody ever joins.
