Glad we agree on that
I haven't looked recently - but from what I remember, the older guns dont work with the type of screens PC uses, sadly. The only reason that I still have all my PS2 light gun games and a giant old tv! :)
How much would you care to wager on this statement? Because I spent the better part of two hours moving him around a pile of useless rocks with holes in them attempting to dodge gunshots (to no avail) before finally throwing in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ towel. The game didn't "do it" or anything else for me other than throw terrible A.I. and broken cover at me.
For every one of you that's said anything even remotely complimentary about this game, you're full of ♥♥♥♥ and haven't played it yet.
Dude, you just don't get it. It's not about that.
The game plays like Time Crisis only without the gun designed solely for it. So, in lieu of that, you have to use either a controller or keyboard to manuever your character WHILE aiming seperately with your mouse or other analog stick. You can't just press a button and duck, you have to manually hold the position into the cover. This plays NOTHING like any other rail shooter ever made for PC or Console when it comes to controls. It's absolutely terrible.
He played it at his friends house...
Lucasarts Indiana Jones adventure,
Jedi Knight PC games
Lego Batman, Avengers
I'm sure there are lots more I've forgotten that are pretty universally praised.
the cut scenes in this look nice but "rail shooter" + $40 price tag = me not going for it
and to be honest i don't understand why the "Lego" games are so "universally praised" I tried a demo of the lego star wars and i found it to be simplistic and clunky and i didn't like it
