Lights?

Is it possible to turn on and or operate your ship lights? I've yet to find a key command or in-game button for these. Thank you.

Ships Running / Navigation lights option, should be there. To show whether you are Moored, Anchored, or Underway, Towing, in the middle of going to a recuse, if that is correct for this game. And Horn too.

No such option exsists, it's very odd seeing the ship underway with no lights at all. I hope it's something that can be fixed in a patch. The game is great, operating with zero lights though kills the immersion.

I would be happy to use lights.
IDea: A Button on the bridge, switching green/red position-light and blue lights.
Second Idea: Use the Steering places Outside to control the searchlights on the bridges top. (Maybe use a modified version of the Water cannons script.) Then the Outside steering places would become useful.
Last Idea: binoculars in Ego-mode.

One little Critic: If I use Ego-mode and sit down at OSC place, and stand up again, I'm standing on the table and the head is looking out throug the bridges roof.

This isn't correct. We are looking into the forum every few days. If there will be an update in the future isn't finally decided. But be assured that we are reading all of your comments and suggestions.

I agree with Dicker_Jemmy.. Lights are a must for this sim as would a Horn (Not found yet.) It would comment this sim to the very best!

I know this isn't SSE, which for most of it's Sim. Lights, on ships, buoys, ports, etc. (esp at night.) As, it should, (I believe) be for this Sim. I am sure in real life, all manner of lights, a by Law, etc. Would be on, otherwise, it would be just too dangerous, for all ships and ports, etc.
We, all know most ships now, have GPS, Radar etc. But guess, what, it's Lights are also, helpful.
Even as you know in some Countries, as modern as we are, we still use some Lighthouses, with their Lights blazing, too. Ironic, the old ways, helping the new. Always, can be a good team.

If you need the horn then use the space bar..(Found it after trying every key on the board looking for a glimmer of Light's Still no Light's only the horn...

It's really a shame this was overlooked in the first place. It's not a bad simulation, but I don't see why this was not an option out of the gate. I would assume visibility is of paramount importance for a ship conducting rescue operations.

Have you considered writing to their offical website??? About this. Or have they now killed that option?? Not via steam.
