Differences

I have played the previous titles and I loved them. I’m just not 100% clear on what is different besides the scenario that differentiates this to the other titles. Does anyone know any specific gameplay elements that really separate this from the other games? What did they change? What have they added? any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

IMO the PBEM (MP) game is far superior to the Global game. Many of the the gamey aspects have been removed or compensated for. I like this game.
