Beginner's luck

Beginner's luck happens because more experienced players would never take the choices I made in this Bronze game 6 years ago, and the kazoe yakuman wouldn't have happened. (Thinking back, a Riichi-nomi hand with 14 dora is just crazy.)

Interestingly, MAKA gives me a score of A- for that round.

The first time I played mahjong was from the mini-game in Yakuza, and the first time I played against humans was in some chinese website that I can no longer remember.

What makes Mahjong fun is because it takes commitment to play. You don't get to sit down on a table, win on your first hand and call it a day like in Poker or Blackjack. On top of it, players are expected and rewarded from reading the tiles in Mahjong. Poker shuffles the entire deck every game, and Blackjack takes preventative measures to stop players from doing card counting.

I know that all of this will just go over your head, but that's fine. After all, I'm writing this for anyone who might stumble upon this thread in the future.
