This game is rigged to be pay to win only
Every game i played on browser is the same, only players who spend money on cosmetics and gacha gets winning tiles. My first 2 games on steam platform comes with 13 Yao for my 2 decked out fancy cosmetics opponents. You are better off playing an offline Mahjong VN than this rigged game.

This is completely true. Same with master duel giving japanese players better hands

Truly a remarkable game where it does a 23 and Me test to determine how Japanese you are, then does an audit of your bank account to see what percentage of your income it requires you to spend on it to decide how to shuffle the deck so as to make sure only the chosen ones can possibly win. Even more remarkable that it peers into the future to make sure the deck is arranged such that only the chosen ones can win regardless of who draws or discards what when.

This may in fact be the most complicated to code and maintain game in all history! /s

This is the most commented thread for the game. I would say it's worth it.

For being such an unrigged game, I'm seeing anomalously high percentage of 2nd draw Tsumos after riichi on certain players who doesn't have even a hundred games on their account.

Maybe it's just a skill issue but I don't really see how being good helps you getting Tsumos even with single waits.

What do you think is an anomalously high Ippatsu rate? I'd like to see your sample size.

Well that's the funny part, I'm not saying Ippatsu, which is the first draw after it, but the second.
From my observations during these past months in Soul since I came back (probably couple hundred games) - And sorry I don't have any ACTUAL stats on this as I never recorded them - it seems the 2nd draw Riichi Tsumo is appearing the most often, so much so that 3rd or 4th seems to pretty much never occur. Overall I'd say about 70-80% of Riichi Tsumos occur wihin the next 5 draws, of which 2nd is over half, and these are almost always starting early on, turn 5-7 or so.

Ippatsus tend to happen quite often as well, but personally those haven't seemed that off to me in general. :spacehamster:

Damn, some of you are farming Steam Points by posting most ridiculous stuff. Almost makes me want to jump on the bandwagon for the profit.

You know as well as everyone else here that humans are notoriously bad at interpreting probability from experiences. Without data this is just a "I fixated on this specific outcome and it annoyed me so it's the only thing I remembered!" post.

Hua speaking of data is hilarious. This is a china made game, they are the best at making cheats and this is Mahjong which originated from China. They have the data from Tencent servers to make you believe you are playing a fair game no matter what it really is. You can continue to deceive yourself that the casinos are playing a fair game but everyone knows its a lie.

Alright look, I know this thread is bait, but I think it's necessary to point something out for anyone who doesn't already know about this.

If you click the dora indicator in the top left, you will see a MD5 hash of the wall, generated at the start of each deal. After the game, you can check the log, look at the wall, and verify that it matches the hash, confirming that draws were never tampered with. For more on this check their FAQ.[mahjongsoul.yo-star.com]
Bringing this up again since everyone seems to have forgotten about it.

This isn't a casino, it's a video game online with zero stakes. You are a raving lunatic.

Everyone will always drown out actual evidence it's just par the course with steam discussion threads. If only anyone present could actually read.

Get 8 Hours of sleep, then try playing another match. It helps, trust me
