Text too easy to skip
So far I really enjoyed my time with the demo but I noticed a slight issue that bugs me.
It's far too easy to double click and accidentally skip text.

The way I enjoy text based game is letting the first few letters appear and click to make the text advance to the end, then read and click again for the next page.

Usually visual novel have a "half a second" cool down between press to not accidentally cause text skip when you want to make the text advance.

I know there's an instant text function but I'm not a fan of that, I like to have the "control" so to speak.

I'd recommend adding that in the future.

fwiw I personally hate it when VN style games have that tiny delay on skipping text, makes it really annoying to click through anything you've already read and sometimes you can read a bit faster than it and then have to wait to progress which is jarring

Maybe have it paired with the "skip read text" option?
If a text has been seen before = no delay, new text = have a half second delay.

Oh my god someone else gets it. I have to have the control too but I could not have put it into words if I tried
