Edit Character for existing Save

I didnt realize you can edit your main characters until investing several hours into a save and I really dont want to restart. Is it possible to edit the main characters in an existing save?

Yes, but both items to do this are somewhat late game. You can change hair style/color with the mirror you get from the pretty workbench, which you get from fighting the giant boss in corrupted forest in the far north. The other item for changing facial an body features is the operating table which comes from having Cassie craft it, an you can find her in the secret lab also in the northern area of the map.
