Any way to remove or recycle structures?
I keep misclicking and placing barricades where I don't want to. Is there any way to tear them down or get the materials back? Or is it a planned function in the future?

You can click any structure, and you'll see "move" and "remove" icons on the bottom-left.
If your character can't find a path to the structure, you can ctrl-click from about your building distance to access it anyway. This is useful for reaching things that hang on walls.

you can drop them, save and then reload, reloading the game deletes everything on the floor, corpses and items
