Modded Content
I "feeeel" like this game is just begging to get modded Content. Haven't seen anyone on Nexus or LoversL*b. Any chance they're someone else, if any?

In the beta patch notes for 0.0.6 they said they're working on supporting the steam workshop for mods. We don't know to what extent it'll be moddable yet, but given it's unity and there's already tools like bepinex for other unity games, it should be possible to do some pretty significant things. I haven't had the chance to look into it yet but plan to.

id love to get mods due to the frustrating storage system and lack of linked storage for crafting stations, an auto sorter mod / larger linked storage would be a godsend, i thought the game was already able to be modded / had mods but the only ones ive found so far are blocks i.e no usable mods like auto sorter or extended linked storage

Spider chest. make as many as you need.
More specifically, anything with "storage" in its name will provide its contents to nearby crafting stations, while anything with "chest" in its name wouldn't.
Wait so spider chest does transfer items? I only know of the base 5 or 6 item cloth storage thing, the gloves take from storage and lets you craft base non workshop items and chests so far from my experience has no way of giving items to be used by crafting.
Are there any others like that storage but with more slots or more range or is that it? I also find it annoying to have to have like 10 cloth storage things and now I have to reorganize my entire base to not make it look so ugly with all these things around lol

There's a Spider Storage with two rows, and also Chaos Storage with three rows, that all share inventory with nearby crafting stations. You can see this when you have a crafting station selected as there'll be blue lines connecting them if they're close enough.

Although I can't understand mostly of it. Not only because the language, but the lack of explanation.

as far as I know, the workshop only supports creating new visual items, you can't create new functionality through it. For mods that change how the game works (more like what you would find at nexus/loverslab), it won't work.

I did not convert because there is no need. He was converting for learning purposes.

You can use melon loader inside BepInEx, see https://github.com/yotan-dev/mad-island-mods?tab=readme-ov-file#compatibility-with-melon-loader for a quick info on how to do it

I tried, but it didn't work out. I just don't have the Mods folder in the MLloader directory. I'm crooked

After installing BepInEx.MelonLoader.Loader for BepInEx v5, you need to run the game once so it creates the MLLoader/Mods folder
