chaos cave does not appear

I have the game updated, but the chaos cave does not appear on my map, I have already gone to the location but there is no entrance. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

I haven't checked the update myself but did you start a new game ? Usually when a game gets updates the old saves do not function properly anymore.

Could be that the new update does not apply to the old saves to maintain game save stability, so new updates do not corrupt your old saves.

im testing this theory now, i just made a new game to see if the cave appears

You have go to settings and switch to open beta

The chaos cave is only included in the last beta update (test update). It is not yet included in the official update.

For those who have the beta version, the chaos Cave is in the cave where you fought the giant. In the center north area of that cave, on the left side of a lake, a new Entrance is open. Go in explore and fight two new Gorilla Bosses (tameable). You can kill them to open the doorway back to the Lake entrance

You can also craft the chaos bench, by using the iron workbench, which will give you access to chaos weapons. No need to start a new game. Old one works.
