when there is more then 40 npc in the my village , even i switch their work tyoe into food,the number of the food still not increasing , always down to 0 .
any solution guys ?

I've try , their will eat 500 food each time , but the number of food they find is around 80.
is this a bug or ?
i think i need to decreased the number of my npc TT

I read somewhere its not worth it to have villagers work to fill the food box.
Better to use the pig breeding pen and farm plots to make food.
You have to fill the box. The villagers dont do it well enough and they wont auto place food in the box when set to farm/livestock.

The wierd thing for me is my people dont eat food. I have my food boxes always full. Villagers always have full food but dont eat or decrease the food in the food box even though i made sure everyone is in range of it.

Mabey there is something we are both missing. Are you on Beta branch of patches? Im not.

Villagers only eat food to heal from injuries. So if they're getting a lot of injuries from raiders, your food boxes will grow empty quickly. And if they're all set to survivor behavior, they don't really need food.

Food consumption will skyrocket if you set all of your friends to offensive mode since they consume foods upon life regeneration, I'd suggest to set most of the friends to survival mode, that would ease the food consumption
