Soybean Seed harvesting

Is there any faster way to get Soybean Seed than going around killing birds?
I know I can also use cheats oke, but maybe there is an alternative of a way to farm it

You can grow them in planters, they act like normal crop.

If you wait for a long time, certain plants will change color in the planter and look dead. This is when they yield seeds instead of the crop. A few plants don't have a dead model but they will still have seeds.

grow in planters
do not harvest until you see the X3 seeds

it takes awhile for them to spawn but if you extract them too early you get nothing but the seed back or the ripe version

OH MY GOD?! THAT'S HOW YOU GET SEEDS?! I knew it was weird that you could re-plant fully grown plants into a planet and thought it was just a oversight bug, damn this is going to save me so much time farming soy-seeds and the paprika looking thing!
