How to give rejuvenation potion and other consumables to NPC's?

Need help with giving items to NPC's. I've tried everything but I can't figure it out. I put it in their inventory, click the item on them, putting it in the cell but it doesn't do anything. Ik you can put armour and on them but not consumables. Any help would be great.

Should be as simple as right clicking it while you have their inventory open.

Oh really? I did do that but it didn't do anything ? I wanted to use it on the old woman. Instead I was the one that ended up using the potion

If you are getting an error message it's because the old lady is age 50. You need a Rejuvenation Secret Potion from the merchant.

Your also going to need a Life Orb from a failed child birth. Craft from the old man to make an abortion potion... Although You can also just birth them without a midwife and it will have a 20% success chance. However you will have to wait until she is ready to give birth.

The abortion potion you can just use it the moment they are pregnant.

Pretty sure I used that as well, I just used the command to get it but I'll just try again. Thank you for the help

You have to Click the NPC, then you place the item you want them to have in their Inventory bar that is on the left side. Once it is in there you right click the item you want them to use.

You don't need to put it in their inventory; having them selected and then right clicking the item in your own inventory works.
