NPC's not doing jobs

As the title says, I can't get my NPC to do her job...

I just tamed my first NPC to MAX and took her out of the cage and right clicked so I can interact with her. I've built a mine and logging plant, but when I assign the NPC to go mining or logging she doesn't seem to be doing anything... Am I missing something?

She has a stone pickax equipped so she's holding the correct tool for mining stone.

In the move menu for the NPC, there's a slider for "Territory"; their assigned workstation (and other facilities you want them to use, like food source and beds) must be within that blue circle. If it's at the lowest (default), they can't work.

You don't need to equip them for their job by the way :)
