What is the in-game progression like?

I'm currently on my 10th day and have no idea what to do, so I just been kidnaping natives for manual labor. Other than that, I just made some simple things like walls, simple houses and beds

Honestly if you want to progress just make a modest base and focus on quests. Aside from setting up a few work benches progression isn't so much tied to base building as it is quests

Try to wander around and find quest circle(red for yuna, blue for male player, and green for both), the game do not have any hint for quest at all so you need to figure them out yourself.

What would I be missing if I don't progress quests and just do my own thing? Would I be missing on a lot of stuff in terms of making the game more fun? Maybe items or buildings? Maybe certain types of natives npcs and activities? I would also like to try all the sexual content of this game, but have no idea how to unlock them

the story is basic and you're only missing a few scenes. The only thing i would say that is NEEDED to fully enjoy the game is to beat all the bosses and find the 6 special characters that can be followers.

You should wander around, explore caves and settlements, some of them force you to fight a boss. The rewards are new buildable tables for access to new items.

Build a house/structure with a bed inside. Let the natives enter and leave the house(Include it in their territory range). Also place a bed outside for them to have sex to raise moral(unless you don't want them have sex but Yuri is also an option). And the basics of food(food box) and water(Well, rain collector).

also the gem icon on the map, if its pink it means you have to be the girl char for pink gem or the pink aura at the location and the guy for the blue quest marker. if that helps

I also have questions regarding animations for H scenes. How do you unlock new animations? Because from what I experience so far, there's only a handful when it comes to the natives. Do I need to make better beds or any other tools?
