when you get out of your shop, look at the left, there is a second hand shop here, deposit the items you want to sell in, and talk to the man.

For the "Second Hand Product Recycling" employee to recognize the items, they just need to somewhere inside his shop. Just haul all the items you want to recycle in there and then talk to him.
You will eventually be able to purchase a Recycle Gun, so that you don't need to carry the items over, but it costs $99 999.

P.S. Note that you get more money for recycling items by spending skill points on the Recycling skill on the Skill Tree, but it's not a lot of money in the long run, as recycling prices are pretty low.
