What exactly is the "content"? Emulated ROM/files, PC remake to look/sound/feel like original NG game, or..?

The game looks awesome but all the videos and screenshots I have seen are 4:3. Is there any option to play it 16:9 without stretching and deforming the view?

The enemies felt somehow "weight less" as I felt nothing much when my punches landed on their bodies. Also there is no grabbing of them which is a big disappointment to me as I really love the "grab and punch" in brawler game. Finally my Candy can change the jump direction while she is still in the air. This seems really off for me man, this further add to my bad feeling that the characters / enemies are "weight less", roaming around the screen like feathers....
