Some questions about how the game works + Some thoughts

I'm enjoying the game a bit so far, but I am struggling a little with how the game actually is supposed to be played.

What exactly is the penalty for getting arrested?
I got spotted in the storage garage and got locked in and when the police came I got a results screen and was back at the safehouse.

I'm also unsure how xp works. Do you not get any xp for just stealing some stuff and going back and dropping the items in the the delivery box at the safehouse?

How do you actually deliver the items for the item requests? I had a wine bottle listed there but I couldn't find out how to actually deliver the item. Dropping it in the delivery box did not work.

And how exactly are you suposed to play the game? I completed the first job, but I can't select any other jobs because I'm not level 2 yet. Are you supposed to just travel back to the neighborhood and steal stuff without selecting any job?

Are you supposed to see random stuff through the world? like sometimes when I arrive at the neighborhood I see a security camera I highlighted in red even though I haven't even been there.

Some other thoughts.

The way you just get teleported to a random location i the street if you try to enter a house not available in the demo is very jarring. Maybe just have the doors and windows on those houses be inaccessible?

If people on steam are getting disappointed about the game not being combat focused maybe make that absolutely clear on the store page. That way people will know what type of game it is.

Also maybe not do adjustments based on just one user struggling with the difficulty?
I'm also finding it a bit hard, but I'm still getting used to how the game works.
A wait and see approach is probably wiser. Maybe it just takes time to learn how the game systems work.

To deliver the item requests you have to have all the items of a request in your inventory or the truck and then sell them via the computer.
