God this game desperately needs a source code release
This game runs terrible on modern windows and it only got updated on OSX and linux
At this point whats the point in keeping the source under lock and key when it can probably get the desperate updates on it needs if its released to the public

I actually built a Windows 98Se machine because of this farce with Descent III lagging or glitching out forced me to move to my retro machine for these games.
