Tutorial on cycles?

Can someone give me a tutorial about how cycles work? Thanks!

yeah some information about cycles would be nice and maybe explaning the difference between cycles and turns.

Cycles are whenever passengers fill into cars and then activate their effect. (the black circles above cars). This happens about every 5 seconds. But can be reduced with some effects.
Some effects proc on each passenger, and some proc on each cycle. Generally, the cart effects procs on each passenger (+happiness) and the faction effects proc on each cycle (Academy)
