How to isolate UV island?
Is there a way to make paintable only specific UV island, so I don't accidentally add paint where I don't need?

Yes, you can quickly mask off UV islands with the Geometry Decal tool in quickmask mode (press T).
No that's not what I was asking. I want to isolate all triangles within single island in one click, not painting the mask with brush. Just like in mudbox.

Like I said. Don't use a brush. Use the Geometry Decal tool. To paint a whole island with a single click set it to uv island mode in the tool settings.
Oh yeah I now got it working (still more clicks than Mudbox though)

Now I have another 3 questions:

1. How do I fill the color in all selected islands after I made the mask?
2. How do I reset quick mask?
3. Any way to disable yellow UV outline in Geometry decal mode? Or at least make it more transparent?

1. With the same tool. Just get out of mask mode (press T again) and drag across the screen.
2. Press Y.
3. Yes, there's a wireframe opacity setting in the viewer settings panel.

And another question, is there fast way to switch black / white color without going to color picker? (like X key in Photoshop)

Not that I know of unfortunately.

We are not really happy with the selection/masking tools and it will undergo massive changes in future updates.
