For example this shader will only show diffuse+normal map for more stylized art:

Would it be too much to ask for non-PBR shaders, even just an extremely basic one such as this is supposed to be, in the default install?
I have a job in my inbox, I need to do it now - I don't have time to figure out how to write a shader just to paint some diffuse colour.
Back to Mari :/
Adding a non PBR shader with specular is still a little tricky as we light the model through the environment map and not from actual lights like in regular blinn/phong shading models.
It works fine for the diffuse, not so much for specular highlights.
Yeah understandable I guess. I'm not too bothered about spec or even bump. I tend to do a lot of simple matte painting for concept and pre-production work (and I can fake out the rest quickly with B2M). And tbh while PBR is definitely the future, it's still a luxury. Most client work (i.e. paying) is just cartoony (well, matte) type stuff. Maybe when I hook some more ambitious work that'll change.
Does anyone have a last-gen shader for substance painter? (Cryengine - Diffuse/Normal/Spec/Gloss/Emissive) ?
