Height map export to normal
I love using the height channel to add small details to the game res mesh after I've baked all my maps. Would it be possible to export just the height map info as a normal map, without combining it with my existing normal map? Having the control of that map in another 2d package after exporting would be great!

Hello,

Before you export, just uncheck Mesh Normal in the Viewer Settings. Then the normal map will be created from just the height information you painted in Substance Painter.
I just tried this and it didn't work on my model. I'm using Build 370

Hmm, this should work. I just tried it again and it exports the height info that I painted with out the combined mesh normal. Did your mesh have a normal map applied to start?
