Opening Blender files in Substance Painter issues
I've been trying to open a useable model in Substance Painter made in Blender for like 5 hours now, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how do to it properly.

I tried exporting my Blender files as both .obj and .fbx files, both times it resulted in all my UV maps being clustered onto one layer and basically being unusable.

I then tried to just open the .blend file itself in Painter, but that resulted in the error; "BLEND: Number of UV faces is larger thant he corresponding UV face array (#1)." I tried again with a completely new blender file that consisted of two simple objects that had been UV mapped, and I got the same error.

I've tried looking for a solution online, but any information I could find was full of so much jargon I couldn't make sense of it. I'm still fairly new to Blender and the most I can do reliably do is make a model and add a texture within Blender.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I am using Blender v2.76 and Substance Painter v1.5.7

You can't open the blend file in SP. If you model is all one object as an OBJ, that is the way it will open in SFM. I don't know if SP supports multiple UV Maps, if that is what you did.

For multiple UVs, use texture sets feature.

Can someone explain how to do this?
Set different materials to parts of model in Blender (material names, not necessary color)
