Painter Over Fill Layer Problem
How do I paint over a fill layer with its own information? I dont want any of the information below to bleed through. I have a glass vase that I want to paint dust on. My problem is the dust is acting like glass as well because of the layer below.

Use a Smart Material Named Dust. Drag it into the layers panel and add a black mask. then paint white on the black mask. my suggestion

Thank you. That works pretty good. The only problem I have left is my glass layer below is transparent. How do I make the dust with no Opacity information from the layer below? I want the glass to be transparent but not the dust.

hey, you will have to use a mask for the opacity channel that takes in account he dust
