Cannot import smart material

I can't import smart material How can i fix this?


[Shelf] "C:/Users/Familie/Downloads/Weapon_Metal (1)/Weapon Metal.spsm" cannot be imported into this view.

you have to put it in to right folder then you will see it in material tab.
/documents/ substance painter/ shelf/smart materials.

I placed it in there manually, still doesnt work

you can browse to the proper folder in your documents : D:\UserName\Documents\Substance Painter 2\shelf\smart-materials (maybe it's C: drive in your case)

Yea i figured, i did what sigma told in the wrong folder. Thank you both!
