Blacklight Tango Down Won't Start Up

I'm having a problem with running the game, when I press play, steam says it is preparing to launch the game, then for a nanosecond it says installing step 1 of 1, and in the library it says it is running but then it stops saying it is running. Does anyone know how to fix this, your answers are much appreciated.

Try out to fix on Libary. Right Klick on Blacklight TD and then repair data

I think I have a theory on why it won't start up, I don't have Games For Windows Live installed and that is one of the requirements.

I think your right, @Evilmorshu77, Windows live is no longer a service. It was shut down a long time ago

where did you make that up? gfwl service has NEVER shut down, only the store has years ago

but the initial launch of the game is supposed to install it, run the installer again or use the latest web installer that's ~627kb

as for windows 10... i have read about other games (like fallout 3, which is also gfwl) having issues, but i dont know the details

i still have the game installed, probably nobody on it unless we organize a group event

Shoot my bad, I didnt realize that only the store had closed down. Even if the GFWL installer will not fully run and finish on Windows 10. Sadly it looks like this game is officially dead...

Yes, technically it is free however, Games For Windows Live (GFLW) was discontinued and cannot be used on windows 10 at all,

In all honnestly I have no damn clue, im not that technically advanced. Maybe? I really dont know. If you find anything about this then please message me, this is quite interesting.

The game will not start on windows 10. That has already been stated. The problem seems to be that the game used some sort of "verification" proccess through GFWL. Without GFWL the game wont start. GFLW wont install on windows 10.
