Which is the latest version?

I have hour zero over EA/Origin and Genpatcher.

and ingame I see 1.04.

but i have heard of 1.2, is 1.2 automatically included with the Steam version?

Are you sure that's about the expansion, and not the base game? They probably have separate version numbering.

Also, 1.2 seems lower than 1.04 to me. These are incrementing version numbers, not decimals. 1.2 is not 1.20, and 1.04 is not lower than 1.2 unless it's 1.0.4 vs 1.2.0. Which it isn't.

Patch 1.04 is the latest version. According to cnc wiki:

Patch 1.04 for Command & Conquer: Generals Zero Hour was released in April 2005, and was the final official patch for the game. It was a minor hotfix for version 1.03.

It is the default version installed within The First Decade and The Ultimate Collection compilations.

Steam and Ea app freshly installed is version 1.05
With genpatcher applied it gets reverted back to 1.04 for mod compatibility.

I just used genpatcher but it still says 1.05

Nvm, i had to download the newest version of genpatcher and now it says 1.04 and MP works now.
