LAN PLAY

I have convinced my 12yo to get generals on his computer so we could play together on LAN. He has finally agreed to try it but as soon as we attack each other we get a mismatch error and kicked any ideas? Im on a steam deck and he's on some flashy multi colored gaming computer. I reckon there is a patch for steamdeck maybe and the pc doest like it.

Connection more than likely, unless you are trying to play with the AI in which case it will missmatch, the more AI there is the higher the chance as well as depends on map a lot of the vanilla zh maps have an issue that causes the AI to missmatch.
