gameranger - Invalid Selection error

i get this error when i try to add the game to gameranger. i choose generals.exe in the launcher folder of my install and it still wont work

run GenPatcher[legi.cc] and apply all fixes

i already did that before trying gameranger. what fixed the problem for me was moving the game from one of my peripheral hard disks to C:/. im not satisfied with the solution because i dont want to bloat my main drive with games but i can play the game online now.

move the game back :/.. you need to run genpatcher again and apply all fixes after installing gameranger and logging in, or else how could GenPatcher fix it without having gameranger even installed?
