Technical Difficulties...
While playing the game, game randomly crash (at least i couldnt find the pattern) and "Technical Difficulties..." error message appears. I've tried changin resoliton, compatibility to windows xp service xp etc. but non of them worked permamnently. Sometimes issue occurs on middle of the game, sometimes after few games it happens.
Any idea what is the solution?

Yeah... I have the same error regarding the "technical difficulties"... Please can someone post a link where can I find more about this issue, and hopefuly fix it
use gentool
Hello guys, you need to download the .ini file that's going in My Documents. This error is caused by the resolution of your windows.

As General Brashch said, i recommend you to download a use Gentool as a patch to "modernize" a bit this game.

However, you need to find the options.ini file from internet. I downloaded it from moddb.

Not compatible with the newest version at the moment. Work on that is underway.

Everyone, please verify the game's install files through Steam and report back to me on whether that worked for you or not.
dont minimize the game to access desktop more than once, it always crashes when u do it again
also download GenPatcher and apply fixes, install gentool and necessary tools in the app

No, not at the moment, those haven't been updated yet to be compatible with the newest versions on Steam/EA App, as I said above.
Greetings Mr.Tnptrs and Gwynbleiddd (And I thought my name was funny).
A question if you may, would greatly help me: I have not altered the games in the entire collection, they are in their original vanilla state. No secondary or any program connected to any of the games.
If I'm updating their latest versions as they recently released with the code being public now, the games will run as previously with no issues? Offline, singleplayer, no 3rd party account added/launcher?

Because I saw a few complaints about this update breaking their games, and I paused from updating just to be sure. I'm hoping that enough time have passed to determine if this update is fine and safe.
