Will we get Generals 2?
So I didn't think Generals would have ever came to steam.
do you think there gauging interest? Do you think we can still get to play Generals 2 (again)?

Cause where ever it is I would vary much like to play Generals 2 again. I feel like what ever they were trying to do would be more tolerable in today's environment.

Ha.
hahaha.
hahahahahahahahahaa.

No.
It took EA what? 20 years to crowbar their hands off origin and give it to us here where they would MAKE money?
Pssssh- yeeeeah i can totally see them SPENDING money if it took em this long to get money. That and we all know it would be crap anyway.

They can't do that because it would be impossible to make the game woke. And all modern AAA games need to be woke for that sweet ESG money.

What do you mean generals 2 could SO easily be woke.

C&C Generals 2 has been cancelled many years ago (2011 ish) in favour of a generic "thousands of players online in a buy your way to the top free game". It was said to have had an horrible timing to come out (during the War on Terror). The game was mostly done and had a release date before getting cancelled.

The "online" version got pulled too and Victory Games (devs) were shut down by corporate (EA Games) putting the matter to rest.

Ah yes..the fictional story (even though so very close to reality) was set in the year..2023.
Guess they had "vision" that it would hit too close to reality, which in many ways, did.

Have a nice day!

No,RTS games aren't making as much money as they were in the 2000s(most of gen z can't macro so they don't buy the game), and EA is nowadays too obsessed with milking money

Not just Generals, but the whole Command and Conquer franchise is dead, untill some indies RTS game make a RTS genre mainstream in gen z like Fortnite or Palworld

I would extremely doubt it, the gaming culture has changed a lot in the last few decades and a large developer like EA wouldn't do anything that could "offend" people and RTS games aren't that big

It sure would of been a nice game...
We have entered the year 2025 and it is incredible why EA Games still does not make a fluent remake that is compatible with today's dynamics and graphics of this game and does not have any problems like serious error etc. Many people around the world love the Generals series, why are they still not starting a new remake or remaster game development yet. We don't have to play the 22-year-old game anymore, that's enough, the players' voices must be heard by EA.

Type the words "play generals online" into a search engine. It's really not hard.
I would like see Remake if EA could be bother to make one!
