GenPatcher v2.07 Beta Released! Now compatible with Steam.

What works:
- GenTool in all its glory (incl. widescreen support, additional zoom in single player, Control Bar Pro support, and more)
- GameRanger multiplayer is now functional
- C&C: Online compatibility between other legitimate players has been restored
- Steam Cloud saving

What doesn't work:
- You must attempt to run C&C Generals or Zero Hour once on Steam to finish off the installation process on Steam's side, after doing this, you can run GenPatcher and it should be fine
- EA App game installations may or may not be compatible with this version of GenPatcher--further testing is needed, which will happen in the coming days

Dus any one know how to stop microsoft edge from blocking the down loading and installing of
Genpather v2.07 from the official website http://legi.cc/genpatcher every time i try to down load it it says its unsafe and auto blocks it from downloading and installing.

I am experiencing the similair problems as Glint since today. Somehow my virus protection suddenly detected GenPatcher as a potential threat and even removed everything that was already installed. Downloading a new version was blocked unless I deactivated my virus protection, however after downloading it my laptop still won't let me install. It allows me to run the file with elevated access, but after that just nothing happens.

Forcing people to use the latest version without seemingly testing it first is probably not the smartest move.
version b had no issues with anti virus. I can't even extract the .zip of version c without causing a panic.

I had no problem with download or install with this GenTool.

But the mismatch is still there... and a friend and I used the same Steam Version, same GenTool Version from here.

We are using Hamachi but nothing works...

Honestly that looks great and I think we all appreciate the hardwork that went into this, but we need something that doesn't trigger Norton. The owner should submit it to Norton to be allowlisted if there's really no issues with it.
