No Sound at all

hey, so like the title says I dont have ANY audio from the moment the game is launched (same goes for the base generals game),

not even the EA logo sound is being played.

Systemsounds are working,
same goes for internet (youtube),
and other games I already had before are also with sound.
Windows sound options did not block the game,
I also tested all the output modes on my headset to no avail.

Anyone knows what to do?

so I had this problem too, but all the in game sound worked, but the opening ea logo and cut-scene sounds would not play. somehow with a clean install in the game options, the voice audio was set at 0, turning it up fixed all the issues. perhaps you have a similar problem with all the audio in game settings set at 0. no idea how this setting was changed from a the first install but I would check in game audio options and see. otherwise try checking the integrity of the game files.
