200 Pierce rate spear
Theres a quest later in the love tournament where i have to make a 200 pierce rate spear with a weight of <2kg. I tried moraka but its too heavy and suvarna doesnt quite get to the 200 PR. i tried all sorts of configs but i cant break 200 without going over the weight. Do i need the last tier of blades and pommels to complete this quest? or is there a configuration im not seeing? I have western blades/pommels/guards as well as northern blades/guards and eastern pommels.

There's a piece in the last set of blade parts that specifically adds to pierce, yeah. Put the pierce heavy tip on that and you can get it. However, try something a little outside of the box before you go there. Make the back of the spear heavier and lighten the haft. If you use the heaviest pommel and make the spear haft out of the lightest wood, that usually tends to make the pierce stat jump.

Hold up, weight distribution plays into pierce??

Yep. Both pierce and slash. If a weapon is weighted heavier towards the back, you'll get a better pierce rate and if it's heavier towards the blade you'll get better slash.
