Then just crank out some simple daggers or short swords (2 Moraka each) or go big and use 3-4 Moraka to create a Two Handed Sword that can fetch you 10,000-12,000. It's how I was able to get to my first 40,000 by the middle of the first month.
Also, never turn down any request from a customer, even if there's no money up front. The rewards usually pay off.
If you get a request from Daren to fight in the arena, make him a good, sturdy weapon and then (if you have the money) bet on him to win. I wasn't sure about his capabilities, so I only bet 1000 coins, but he came back a few days later with my reward of 25,000 - so now I wish I had bet more up front.
Don't spend any money on anything except coal and the quenching barrel until you earn at least 45,000-50,000 (setting aside the 40,000 for rent and the guild). The lathe really isn't worth the 3000 coins as it only adds pennies to the overall sale price and the handle does nothing to change the stats of the weapon itself. When you have enough, head to the builder and upgrade the Garden Lights so you can see better when you work outside at night
Skills: upgrade the first level of ore inventory and the first level of blades, pommels and guards as you will need them as the special requests continue to come in. I've discovered (thru my own mistakes) that they pay off more than almost any other skill. Also be careful if you choose the Auto Hammering skill, especially on softer metals - stop when you reach 80% on each section, then hammer the rest manually.
you can use cheat engine.
do a 4byte search for the exact value of money you have on hand, then give some money to the kid, or buy something and do search again.
3 searches should have only 1 result.
I've maxed my shop, bought all the Potions, have my first worker...and haven't even talked to the first NPC yet.
