Spear with 60 Pierce
I cannot for the life of me find out how to get a spear with that much pierce. No matter what combination I make, it only ever gets up to 55 at most. This hunter dude has been in my house for five days now and he stinks, send help.
Any tips on how to get a spear past sixty pierce?

Pommel --> 30 pieces of "Handle Shape 3" (120cm) --> Guard --> 4 pieces of "Blade 0" (20cm) -- > "Point 1"

Ore type- Iron
Fuller type - Diamond

That should give you over 60 pierce, if you tweak the design and use quenching you will reach 80 pierce

Good luck

In general for high pierce you want the POB to be as close to the pommel as possible. So pick the heaviest pommel, a light guard, and make the blade light. Hollow ground fuller is light.

Moraka ore have the highest pierce values, Suvarna is a close second. You can find the alloy recipes at the back of the book on your design table. other than that, the other two already covered everything else.

FYI create the spearhead without using a halberd piece.

I found that out early on. Kinda silly how the obvious spear head instead makes the long stick a "heavy weapon" lol
