The Auto Mining I didn't get for a while as it was gated behind 300 Skill points? Plus it cost 200 in addition to unlock. So that was 500 total to invest to get it. I would agree that that felt like a lot.
I did like that the Auto Hammer for the anvil is accessible at the beginning of the game and not gated behind anything.
I do like that we don't start off with it though. As it lends itself to us being an unskilled blacksmith at the start of the game so we are clumsily hammering away. Then after we make some weapons and gain some skill points we can invest in that skill and that represents us being more skilled at yielding the hammer and can do controlled and consistent hammering.
But I also agree that the clicking was hard on my hand, and I was eager to get the skill as quickly as possible.
So I agree having both of them available early game and fairly cheap would be nice. Maybe 50 each? We have to work a little for them, but not to the point of hurting ourselves or damaging our mouse.
