can someone explain the fuller type for me please?

Changing the fuller adds or subtracts material from the entire blade. It's a way of shifting your balance point around. Generally, you go with a hex grind for weapons you want to be heavier and have more slashing on, and hollow grind for weapons you want to be lighter and have more pierce. There's a lot more to weapon balancing, but that's a part of it.
