Does it stack up to Ys 8?

Lacrimosa of Dana is probs my fav Ys so far. Does Ys 10 offer the same amount of content and length at least?

It's an entirely new battle system. Ys usually reinvents itself every 2-3 games. Length should be similar off what users in Japan say.

In japan it was recived far better than Ys 9 and seems to be return to quality of 8.

why do people talk as if ys 9 was bad? i loved it. i'll admit 8 has a better story, but 9 is a great game too

They didn't say 9 was bad, it's just not as good as 8.
I expect 10 will be better then 9, but still not as good as 8.

I think 9's setting didn't do it any favors after the awesome setting of 8 the prison setting just felt like a step back off the cuff thoughts and the story was a bit weaker but still a solid title
