WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 2 GAMES THAT ARE FOR SALE?
I had already released this game on Mar/13/24
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2570810/Ys_X_Nordics/

And now we will have this new release on another sales page:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2731870/Ys_X_Nordics/

Can someone explain to me the difference between the 2?

Unbelievable, seriously, they made a new release just to add a language. I believe that in this case, adding it to the previous game would have solved the problem.

But maybe they thought about marketing. But thanks for answering anyway, friend.
The two different publishers only have licenses to publish the game in certain languages. If anything blame Falcom.

Also the pc port we get is of significantly higher quality. It supports hdr, co-op multiplayer complete button remapping, mouse has keyboard controls, has more advanced graphic settings and more. In fact the Chinese port was so awful they had to pul it from steam for months just to fix it up. It's only been beck for a few weeks at this point.

Also its not just a language. The Chinese version is only chinese(both simplified as well as traditional) and korean text with Japanese voice over only. The nisa version has English(both voice over and text), French(Text) and Japanese(both Voice over and text). Clearly Falcom prefers the Western ports considering they only gave the western publisher the rights to the Japanese text. In fact this is almost always the case(except for trails into reverie)

There is substantially more changes to this port. Durante does the western ports, and he always improves the quality of them, and, when possible, even adds co-op. Basically, the Chinese Ports of Falcom games are quintessential of substandard (and maybe even terrible) PC ports, but Durante's ports are the gold standard.

Also Compare required specs for both ports. Clearly one is way better optimised(despite being also way more flexible)

Main difference is PC port god Durante worked on this version, that's all you need to know if you're actually a real gamer with a lowercase g.

The only thing I would say Durante missed with this port compared to the CL port is moving the engine to DX12 and adding DLSS support(and other upscalers).

I don't know how well-made the CL port is, but imagine Durante quality ports with DLSS, or more importantly, DLAA. Yeah, you can get better image quality in this game with supersampling or SGSSAA. But now imagine if you could get close enough to that image quality, but without cutting your framerate by 2/3.

bro, is this just you rambling?

This is like saying basketball would be better if the arena was in space and every time the ball bounced the cheer leaders would twerk in rythm to the bouncing and also fireworks and free beer.

Like you're not wrong but it's a bit of an ask. You got free co-op, chill.

It's not just the languages. The CLE port is terrible. On the other hand PH3's ports are by far the best in the industry. Seriously no other games are as optimized and have as many customization options. Hell they even managed to add coop to a singleplayer game (just like they did Ys 8 and 9)

The current version thats about to release is better than the CLE port
- English support
- Better performance and graphics
- Co-op support
- HDR and native Ultrawide support

The NISA ports are done by Durante and are of a much higher quality, even the japanese players play the NISA ports because of this since it supports japanese as well.

If it had chinese and Korean then those players would've went with NISA's port but alas it only supports JP and ENG
