Yeah but why couldn't they give it a more permanent option? No reason not to really, that i can see atleast except it's a design choice.
Oh there is an accessory? I didn't know that even, thanks but you said treasure chests, that does also include the hidden treasures under piles of dirt (since they are not technically chests)?
And yes that was my other gripe on this game i forgot, you get given the option of 30-40 of them but only got 3 slots to wear them, makes it hard to pick which ones because each has their own good thing.
But basically the cloaks (especially also the healing one) are the best.
In the early games, you just got better swords/armor etc and had to worry much less about oh what should i wear now, it's like a woman with a closet full of clothes and still don't know what to wear.
The accessory is called Eagle Eye Doubloon and you can obtain it as the first reward when reporting your adventure progress (the overall discovery percentage) to Dogi while interacting with the map in the common room of the Sandras (the one below the helm). IIRC you get it for a overall discovery rate of 5% or maybe 10%.
When equipping it you can permanently see all normal chests on the map and all enemies, too for the areas you explored. Hidden treasures are also shown on the map but only while you use mana vision so most of the time you use Mana Vision once you explored a larger portion of the map, open the map screen and there you can see the icons for the buried treasures. And I think one can also see those hidden treasures on the on the mini map in the bottom right of the HUD, when using Mana Vision while having the Eagle Eye Doubloon equipped.
You have it when you report your Adventure progress to Dogi in the Sandras.
It's literaly the first item you should receive if you explore the Sandras the second you have it (End Chapter 1/ Start Chapter 2).
Look what your accessories does if you have it, explore your item bag.....
No, they are not shown without the mana sense on the map, only the regular ones. However, if you open your map after mana sense, you will see the burried chests.
You have 4 accessories slots per character, not 3. 1 free, then 1/2/3 paper scraps per slot.
Yeah, the more you play, the more the cloaks are broken, but it's the same since they were introduced.
You should look at least what X gave you or what you found on Y chest before putting it in your bag for eternity. Know the color of your cloths at least or what they are made of ?
