A useful trick for post game(and one tip)

There's some accessories to turn gold, crystals, and EXP into each other, gold to crystals, exp to gold, etc. However, of note, if you use BOTH the accessories for EXP, to gold and crystals, as the same time, the bonus affects both of them, without taking away from either. A good way to help grind in the post game to afford the Power Up Elixirs, which can be bought with a few things this time.

Oh, and when you hit Level 99, be sure to go to the bottom of the Release Lines for one final unlock, so long as you have 10 extra points for unlocking stuff. It's well worth it.

Equip the Gold and Crystal to EXP necklaces and do a run through the final dungeon up to the 'depths' from the start just inside the tree. Fighting the things there should give you enough EXP to level at least 3-5 times each time.

Oh, and remember to sell your beast parts at some of the traders on the ocean for ingredients. You can then trade those for crystals, which can be traded for stat up elixirs directly.

Also, remember, you don't keep Weapons or Armor in NG+, though almost everything else, so its safe to dump them, either by dismantling or by just selling them.

Where's the best place to get orbs? I'm trying to make a maximized build for NG+. Also can I just put the necklaces on one character and have kills for the whole party count?

That one I'm not sure about myself, as I just went with as many rainbows as I could make, and it carried me into the endgame(equipped on Adol, with Karja getting all my red axes for break power). That last unlocked Duo power is a killer, with huge range and damage. Mind, no 'infinity mode' for increased drops or anything again, sadly. Guess they got away from that(It was in Ys 9 and Tokyo Xanadu which used that engine).

Wow, the last release line bonus is huge, but you'd basically need dozens of rainbow orbs to fully maximize. This game really needs a postgame dungeon; I found doing the last recapture with EXP and drop bonuses was more efficient than the final dungeon because you can clear both the ship and land phase in about six minutes. You can get about a level every seven minutes this way even in the 90s. I'll try to find an efficient way to get orbs, as unfortunately playing the game in NG+ wouldn't really bear much fruit.

The best way I found to farm (ie. from 90 to 99 in less than 1 hour) is to equip both Accessories, then go to the very last stage, in the last floor. There is a very big place with tons of ennemies. You just spam 3-4 times the lv 90 duo skills, then, when all the small fries are dead, you save & load. All the ennemies respawn.
Rince and repeat.

post game ?? do you mean NG+ cause once the last boss is beat in ch 10 you enter an epilogue and you can't go anywhere
